Having a thick tongue; --applied to a group of lizards (Pachyglossæ), including the iguanas and agamas.

A wrestling school; hence, a gymnasium, or place for athletic exercise in general.

specially to the Chamærops, or Sabal, Palmetto, the cabbage tree of Florida and the Carolinas. See Cabbage tree, under Cabbage.

An athlete; a gymnast.
PARADISE n.
An open space within a monastery or adjoining a church, as the space within a cloister, the open court before a basilica, etc.
