CHILDHOOD n.
The state of being a child; the time in which persons are children; the condition or time from infancy to puberty. I have walked before you from my childhood. 1. Sam. xii. 2.
CHIVACHIE n.
A cavalry raid; hence, a military expedition. [Obs.] Chaucer.
CHIVALRY n.
A tenure of lands by knight's service; that is, by the condition of a knight's performing service on horseback, or of performing some noble or military service to his lord.
