INDORSE v.
to indorse an opinion. To indorse in blank, to write one's name on the back of a note or bill, leaving a blank to be filled by the holder.
INDORSEE n.
The person to whom a note or bill is indorsed, or assigned by indorsement.

The act of writing on the back of a note, bill, or other written instrument.
