NOWEL n. 2 definitions
The core, or the inner part, of a mold for casting a large hollow object.
OGEE n.
A molding, the section of which is the form of the letter S, with the convex part above; cyma reversa. See Illust. under Cyma.
OILLET n.
A small circular opening, and ring of moldings surrounding it, used in window tracery in Gothic architecture. [Written also oylet.]
OVOLO n.
A round, convex molding. See Illust. of Column.
