IXODES n.
A genus of parasitic Acarina, which includes various species of ticks. See Tick, the insect.
JOINT n.
The part or space included between two joints, knots, nodes, or articulations; as, a joint of cane or of a grass stem; a joint of the leg.
JUNCO n.
Any bird of the genus Junco, which includes several species of North American finches; -- called also snowbird, or blue snowbird.

Making a right angle; perpendicular, as two lines or two sides of a triangle, which include a right angle.

The only existing genus of Merostomata. It includes only a few species from the East Indies, and one (Limulus polyphemus) from the Atlantic coast of North America. Called also Molucca crab, king crab, horseshoe crab, and horsefoot.
