STYROLENE n.

C9H6O3, found in the bark of a certain plant (Daphne Mezereum), and also obtained by the distillation of certain gums from the Umbelliferæ, as galbanum, asafetida, etc. It is analogous to coumarin. Called also hydroxy- coumarin.
UNDECYLENIC a.
H20O2, homologous with acrylic acid, and obtained as a white crystalline substance by the distillation of castor oil.
USQUEBAUGH n.
A compound distilled spirit made in Ireland and Scotland; whisky. The Scottish returns being vested in grouse, white hares, pickled salmon, and usquebaugh. Sir W. Scott.
