HELLIER n.
One who heles or covers; hence, a tiler, slater, or thatcher. [Obs.] [Written also heler.] Usher.
HEMICARDIA n.
A lateral half of the heart, either the right or left. B. G. Wilder.
HEMICEREBRUM n.
A lateral half of the cerebrum. Wilder.
HERBIVORA n.

enus of Tertiary mammals allied to the horse, but three-toed, having on each foot a small lateral hoof on each side of the main central one. It is believed to be one of the ancestral genera of the Horse family.
HIPPOCAMPUS n.
A name applied to either of two ridges of white matter in each lateral ventricle of the brain. The larger is called hippocampus major or simply hippocampus. The smaller, hippocampus minor, is called also ergot and calcar.

The third lateral plate in the plastron of turtles; -- called also hyposternum.
ICHTHYOPTERYGIUM n.
The typical limb, or lateral fin, of fishes.
ICHTHYOSAURIA n.
Ichthyosaurus and allied forms; -- called also Ichthyopterygia. They have not been found later than the Cretaceous period.
ICOSAHEDRON n.
or faces. Regular icosahedron, one of the five regular polyhedrons, bounded by twenty equilateral triangules. Five triangules meet to form each solid angle of the polyhedron.

IDOLIZER n.
One who idolizes or loves to the point of reverence; an idolater.
ILEUS n.
e constipation, with griping pains in the abdomen, which is greatly distended, and in the later stages by vomiting of fecal matter. Called also ileac, or iliac, passion.
