MEASUREMENT n.
ent, size, capacity, amount. or quantity ascertained by measuring; as, its measurement is five acres.
MERILS n.
A boy's play, called also fivepenny morris. See Morris.
METACARPUS n.
skeleton of the hand or forefoot between the carpus and phalanges. In man it consists of five bones. See Illust. of Artiodactyla.
METATARSUS n.
ower limb between the tarsus and phalanges; metatarse. It consists, in the human foot, of five bones. See Illustration in Appendix.
MIXTURE n.
An organ stop, comprising from two to five ranges of pipes, used only in combination with the foundation and compound stops; -- called also furniture stop. It consists of high harmonics, or overtones, of the ground tone.
