Discuss Titus 2

    Oseas

Hey brother just one last thing to consider.

Daniel 9:24-27, in this prophecy, there are seventy weeks or 490 years determined unto Daniel's people and the holy city to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

Have these 6 things been fulfilled in Jesus the Messiah, and the judgment of it carried out in 70 AD? If so, all of this prophecy has been fulfilled in the past.

1 To finish the transgression. To break or violate, as a law, civil or moral; the act of transgressing. Psalms 32:1 Isaiah 53:5-11 Romans 4:14-15 Galatians 3:18-19 Hebrews 9:14-15.

2 To make an end to sins. Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. Matthew 1:21 Hebrews 10:8-11 John 1:29 1 Corinthians 15:3 1 John 3:5 Psalm 32:1 Romans 3:21-26 Romans 8:3.

3 To make reconciliation for iniquity. Reconciliation is an element of salvation that refers to the results of the atonement. Colossians 1:20-22 Isaiah 53:6 Isaiah 53:11 Romans 5:11 Ephesians 2:16 Titus 2:14 2 Corinthians 5:18-19.

4 To bring in everlasting righteousness. In conformity to the demands of the covenant and according to God's will. Isaiah 61:10-11 Romans 3:21-26 Romans 5:17-21 2 Corinthians 5:21 1 Peter 2:24.

5 To seal up the vision and prophecy. The greatest prediction, which runs like a golden thread through the whole contents of the Old Testament, is that regarding the coming and work of the Messiah, Jesus. Daniel 9:23 Matthew 11:11-15 Mark 1:14-15 John 5:36-40 John 6:27 Acts 3:18.

6 To anoint the most holy. The high priest went into the holy of holies once a year with the blood of a sacrificed bull. Jesus our high priest with His own blood anointed the most holy not made with hands once and for all, forever. Hebrews 9:6-14.

Jesus said it in John 19:28-30.

    God bless,

OK getting back to my postings about God's attributes:

    "R" GOD IS RIGHTEOUS

He always does what is good and right. He never deviates from being sinless. He always thinks, says, and does everything righteously from pure and holy motives. There is no shadow of "darkness" in Him as to evil. His righteousness is far above whatever righteousness man can perform because even our righteousness is tainted by sin.

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" In all of history, there has never been and strictly human person who is sinless. so, there has never been a strictly human person who is able to save himself from the condemnation of sin let alone anyone else.

Because of the complete and utter fallenness of mankind, there can be no redeemer from among humanity. There is no one whose righteousness is so pure and complete to be efficacious for the removal of God's judgment upon ALL of mankind.

It takes the righteousness of God to save mankind and God determined that his righteousness would come to save mankind by His divine Son becoming a man, righteous in every way, since He is God and cannot be unrighteous, and dying as our sacrifice.

The divine Son of God was incarnated, as John says in John 1:1, 14, ad became man for our sake. As God said in the OT, it is God alone who is Savior (Is 43:1, 11; 45;21; Hos 13:4) therefore, Jesus is God who is our Savior. If He is not God, then He is not our Savior because no strictly human man can save anyone. It is God who saves, who, though God the Son, took on human flesh and nature to be the only Kinsmen Redeemer who can take a way our sin, be a perfect, worthy, and more than sufficient sacrifice for the sins of the whole world, and to be able to bear the complete wrath of God for mankind for all their sins. No mere human can do that,

In Titus 2:13 Jesus is called our "Great God and Savior"

John 1:1 calls Jesus God:" the Word was God"

hello, I would like to get back to posting on the attributes of God_ for "R" I choose REDEEMER

Both in the OT and NT God is spoken of as our Redeemer- one who rescues, ransoms, or makes payment to deliver someone from condemnation, death, evil, sin, slavery, bondage.

Job 19:25 -The LORD is Job's Redeemer

Ps. 19:14 -the LORD is David's Redeemer

Is. 48:17 - the holy One of Israel is Redeemer

    Hosea 13:14 from death

    Ps. 49:15 from the grave

Rom. 3:24 -redemption came through Jesus Christ

Rom 8:23 Jesus redeems our bodies

1 Cor. 1:30- Jesus is our righteousness, holiness and Redeemer

Eph 1:7 -Jesus paid our ransom with his blood to redeem us

Col. 1:14-in Christ Jesus we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins

Heb 9:12- In Jesus we have eternal redemption

    Lk. 1:68 -redeemed his people

Gal 3:13; 4:5-from the curse of the law

    Titus 2:14 - from wickedness

We know that Scriptures clearly say that God is our Redeemer in the OT and NT.

How great it is that Jesus, (the eternal Word) became flesh to be the perfect Kinsman Redeemer for us-a human man to live a perfect life which He (as God in the flesh) could only do, and to give His infinite and invaluable life as the payment for our sins. The Father gave His Son, the Word, Jesus, for us in the incarnation, the Holy One, to ransom us from the domain of sin, hell, and the grave and bring us into His glorious Eternal Divine Kingdom.

The Holy Spirit regenerates us with the power that raised Jesus from the dead to come to faith in Jesus that we may be saved and inherit what God has determined for us to receive due to the everlasting covenant made within the Godhead before ANYTHING was created.

All praise and worship we bring rightly to the Father, the Son, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit Whom together in unity did all that the will of God determined was to be the terms of our redemption. There has never been a perfect man in all of history. Man is unable to live a perfect life. But God become flesh alone could.

GOD is praised in us when we are set to glorify HIM as HE directs us. In the things we do in HIM and how we direct our material wealth and use it to worship the LORD CHRIST.

May our walk in HIM be precious as the tabernacle is shown to be. The outer covering not much to look at; but the inside is beautiful beyond compare. Our life be as Philip in Acts 8: 26 able to tell others of the gospel of the LORD JESUS.

Thank YOU FATHER for this day of worship and time of celebration

    Luke 2:10 - 18

11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

    Isaiah 9

6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Many are saying we as believers should not be involved in this "pagan" ritual; however, we should use this as an opening to declare our SAVIOR GOD JESUS CHRIST who is no longer a babe.

    Titus 2:

    13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Praying for the peace in Jerusalem and the Godly wisdom needed in DC and all levels and areas of our nation.

    Ephesians 6:10-18 may we recognize..

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Merry Christmas everyone, and a prosperous New Year in 2024.

Commitment to GOD'S way will bring us closer to being the type of person HE desires us to be. 2 Timothy 3:16, 17

    Titus 2:11-14

14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

We will be able to conduct ourselves in accordance to the mind of CHRIST, heeding the leadership before us. Romans 13:1-5

Being crucified in CHRIST, and knowledgeable in HIS word we are able to go forward and carry out HIS word and make disciples, Matthew 28:18-20; being encouraged, we will go out to reach the lost, 2 Peter 3:9.

May we be faithful in our prayers for the peace in Jerusalem, and for the authority before us,

    Isaiah 55:

11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

    1 Timothy 2:1-6

GOD to shine HIS blessed face upon us as we put on the new man in CHRIST name, and put off the old man. For if any man be in CHRIST, he is a new creature. 2 Corinthians 5:17

Thank YOU FATHER for the faithfulness of the brethren here on this forum. Help us to be prayed up, and be reminded to wear the armor of GOD daily. Ephesians 6:11-18

    Oseas,

Thank you for your thoughts and adding to the discussion.

Yes, we are to reap; however, we are still called to sow the seed. Matthew 28: 18-20. This is because we don't know when the LORD JESUS comes and our work is ended here on earth. We keep sowing, because GOD is not willing that any one perish, but all come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9.

For one plants, another waters, but GOD gives the increase.

    1 Corinthians 3:6-11

We sow through CHRIST JESUS in our testimony, and witness as people see our daily relationship with our SAVIOR. In our sharing and declaring of the Salvation of the LORD. Titus 2:11-14.

GOD bless you in your ministry of faith. November 29, 2023

What you are telling me Jesus is your minister to do the devil's dirty work to sin? God forbid. If you are saved You do not sin. What do you not understand the words " does not commit sin" and "Cannot sin?" What don't you believe? When Jesus in John 5:14 said, "Go and sin no more"

1st John 3:[8] He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

[9] Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God

If Jesus told you: "Sin no more. You would answer him by saying, "I can't."Or "I don't believe you."Or "No one is able to stop sinning except you.""???

Matthew 3: 1 At that time John the Baptist appeared, preaching in the wilderness of Judea.

2 He said,Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say,Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Your just calling Jesus a liar when you claim you can not stop sinning as sin is ungodliness it is of the devil 1st John 3:8. Do you think the grace of God came so that we can still live like bastard children of the devil and no change in our life? God forbid. No sinner can make heaven unless thry repent abd give it up.

Titus 2:11] For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

    [12] Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

    [13] Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

[14] Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Jesus never died to make a new type of sinner? Called a Christian sinner? he died so that we can be free from the devil we can be holy, rightous, santified, perfect, ready to meet him.

    Brother Carleton.

    Part 3.

Carleton, When I speak of demonic influence, I mean that literally!! I'm not name calling. Yes, I believe in that and I believe in demons also. There is no Holy kiss for that person!! This Holy kiss of acceptance is to and for the Brothern.

Romans 12:9 says Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

Abhor means to detest, or to feel abhorrence of; hate; dislike intensely.

When someone doesn't hold the truth that's one thing, but when someone stands in the way of the preaching of the cross of Christ that's another and it's evil. That's not a brother.

Look at Paul in Philippians 3:2. Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.

Paul calls them the enemies of the cross of Christ. And he says to MARK them! Philippians 3:17-19.

How do you reconcile these scriptures?

    1 Corinthians 5:6-13.

    2 Corinthians 6:14-18.

Listen to Paul in Titus 2:15. To rebuke someone is to admonish or convict. convince one of a fault. "This is from brother to Brother. Him you kiss, not an enemy of the cross of Christ.

We have those amongst us that promote a legalistic means of Justification that the scriptures identifies them as "Enemies of the cross of Christ." The scripture doesn't say greet them with an Holy kiss. In fact it says "Mark them which walk so"

However atleast they promote righteous living! They're just not justified before God in their efforts without a rebirth.

This person here in question, for the past three years or so doesn't promote righteous living at all! And they don't promote the acceptance of the work of Christ on the Cross as THE means for salvation! Would you say he's a Brother?

    Jesse

I'm going to need to begin another thread, I've mistakenly clicked the notification to not have any more replies on our previous thread.

    Jesse,

You ask for concrete proof, it's been given to you, you've chosen to reject Light

You may remain in unbelief, I would not advise it, Heb 11:6 1Cor 15:34

I've openly stated that I'm in the work of the washing of regeneration & renewing in the Holy Spirit, the work of sanctification of the Spirit unto obedience & sprinkling to the Blood/Life of Jesus.

The phases themselves indicates a cleansing from sin & a renewing into the image of Him who created him.

I've experience through the years, that this cleansing is not only from the committing of sin, but from the temptations to commit sin, though not submitted too. Their powers are weakened as I pick up the Cross & deny self in the inward parts, were thoughts are formed & birth, springs forth & we become conscious of them, Holy Spirit quickens me in my conscience to their stratagem within & without & makes me to learn Wisdom, Job 28:28 He preserves me 1Pet 1:5 by faith in the inward Voice, Grace appearance.

Surrendering to Christ is not a one time thing, it's a daily surrendering, as one exercises & abides in known Truth & as new light & knowledge is shined into our hearts in the face of Jesus Christ. Paul says at the end of his life, "I have kept the Faith"

A Christian life is one of constant growth, a perfection that can be added too. Even in our unperfected state there's a perfecting of our faith, how else will one ever arrive at 2Cor 7:1 "its from faith to faith, glory to glory".

I appreciate your concern, spiritually, but my faith whom Christ has Authored decrees a cleansing from all sin, Titus 2:14 & according to my faith, so shall it be unto me.

Ephesians 3:19,20 Matt 5:6 both indicating there's no place for darkness to remain & that God is able.

    Hi Jesse

No, not in the frame of what you're implying.

    Quoting you

There is a definition that's given to us here. It says we are in the flesh if we don't have Christ. If we are not "born again" we have an illegitimate claim at being a true believer.

Whereas, those who are born again do belong to Christ & has been gather unto the Gardener.

Yet those who are in the work of sanctification of the Spirit.

They are true believers too, & belong to Christ, having received of God the gift of faith, from hearing the Word of God in their hearts to the working out of their salvation,& by that gift of faith, they receive ever increasing measures of His Spirit Gal 3:2

Hebrews 12:1 wherefore lay aside the sin that doth so easily beset us. They believe & are in the work of regeneration.

Hebrews 12:4,5,6,7,8 Holy Spirit calls them His children & He's their Father, they belong to Him

Hebrews 12:9-11 afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby, & why? Because they have become partakers of His holiness, the Divine Nature

So in the cleansing work of making holy, their growing from faith to faith & from glory to glory being brought to the baptismal of the Holy Spirit to be dead unto sin, born again of the incorruptible Seed.

    Friend,

The path is straight & the gate is narrow indeed that leads to life & few there be that find it, for some then, its to narrow for them to enter. Yet our Leader has plainly mark the path for us, He takes us by the hand & leads us in the very same path that He Himself walked in, wherein He received of the Father all His glory, & so shall we, for all that would believe all things are possible. Isa 42:16 the just Rom 1:17

Its not from the studying of the letter, as one would for any other endeavor, by the art of human science, but a total resolution of one spirit to empty oneself & be guided & taught of God's Spirit John 1:9 Titus 2:11 within one's own conscience. The Immanuel of God, who is within us.

I agree with what you have spoken, how else would one come to Christ: John 6:44,65 & that by His Spirit John 1:9 Titus 2:11

But I don't agree with what Jesse implying, its unscriptural, against sound reasoning & Christ Spirit bears witness against it in my heart.

As we recognize the dire situation in our country as in the current reading; let us also recognize that each of us may become that "... man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it:"

Let us agree to walk with the LORD and put forth HIS will and commandments first by carrying out HIS promises.

1- Let us confess and repent of our own sins. 1 John 1:9

2- Ephesians 2:8-10 Remember we are ordained to do good works!

    3- 2 Peter 3:9 love the lost

4- Matthew 28:18-20 Go make disciples

    5- 2 Timothy 2:15 Study HIS word

6- 2 Timothy 3:16, 17 Love, and apply HIS word

7- 1 Timothy 2: 1-4 pray for "...all that are in authority..."

8- Romans 10:1, 2 cultivate the desire and pray to GOD that all might be saved

This is in no particular order and not exhaustive by any means. I am sure the brethren on this forum are able and capable to add to it to the glory and praise of the LORD.

Titus 2:11-14 for while we wait and looking for that blessed hope; for HIS

glorious appearing may we be "...Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;"

Our hope must be only in CHRIST and no one else. GOD to shine HIS face on all who are on this forum and gloriously bless your situation.

    Hi Valswords

The very content of your statements, indicates that God has not withdrew His Spirit from you in seeking & saving that which is lost.

Why is it not recorded that Jesus did not tell the woman at the well, to go & sin no more, we know not, He spent 2 days with them at Samaria preaching the good new of the kingdom, & part of that news is John 8:34 "includes all sin whatsoever".

You have honestly acknowledge your continuing in sin, this is the His Holy Spirit dealing with you according to John 16:8 & Titus 2:11,12

When He convicts of sin, He also reveal righteousness , showing you what to do instead,

I ask you, has He not done this, could it be that your not wanting to hear what is being reveal to you?

Friend, your eternal happiness & well being is at stake here, continue your conversations with Him, in simplicity & truthfulness

He will confirm to you the answer, love the Truth with all your heart, pick up your cross & follow the Way, the Truth & the Life.

    Psalms 145:18

As for as this advice from Jordyn, it's utterly abominable

4 If keeping the law made us sinless we wouldn't need Christ,,,,,,Christ came to fulfilled the law, & all those who follow Him in the regeneration fulfill the law too, by a higher law, the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus, which supersedes the law of the OT, through the Spirit of Grace which has appear to you, making you aware of your sins. He checks you in the provocations & temptations of this life & show you what not to do & what to do Titus 2:12 & if you'll obey, you'll sin not.

5Keeping rules doesn't give us the Spirit of Truth, this is a false statement, Acts 5:32 Gal 3:2 believe that it is He who is within you speaking to you & if you will surrender to His guidance, little by little, you'll increase in His Spirit, until nothing will be impossible for you Philippians 4:13

    Jema,

The very essences of the salvation that Jesus gave His life for is to bring us back to a life of obedience. Hebrews 5:9

Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven,

Disobedience makes this impossible or to become a child of God

    A personal testimony

Correct me if I'm wrong, I've read that you love all type of worldly music, I was once there. Being a Christian & doing this does not go together, Just like watching tv, it glorifies all the works of the flesh of Gal 5 feeds the carnal part in man which is enmity against Godly part. I was having the same troubling problems your facing & God began opening me to why I was so easily captivated by the devil at his will. Our eyes & ears are the windows to our soul & spirit, I was feeding my self with sin & death, 1Cor 10:21 2Cor 6:14 I pick up the Cross to it, so that I may become pure in heart, The Blood of Jesus reaches to the cleansing of the conscience/heart from the evil one. But we must become obedient & pick up the cross to all things that would defile it. & so will all do, who God has inspired to live 24/7 for Christ.

Remember; where He invites, He empowers.

    In love & truth.

In Truth, the day you are completely free from sin, is the day you meet your Savior ! 1 Pet 1:7-9

I can't tell you how Dan would answer that question,

    but here's mine

It's not a work of our self-efforts in our own strengths or our own understanding, it following the Light of Christ in our hearts, the still small Voice of Conscience that convicts us of our wrong doings & directs us to do what is just, good & holy, Titus 2:11

Micah 6:8 , its the Treasure we have in these earthen vessels, enlightening us in the power of Holy Spirit, picking up the Cross & denying self, & causing us to will & do of His good pleasure, which works were finishes from the foundation of the world, Hebrews 4:3 Acts 15:18 We enter into His works, coming to a place of rest from our own works

Then there some that are persuaded they don't have to do anything, but believe, without becoming a doer of the Word, thats more like being a demon, for they believes, but they do not obey.

Consider all that Scriptures, beginning with Abraham, Gen 18:19 by his obedience Abraham proved his faith & his love for God

John 15:10 he abided in God's love & received all that God had promise him, through his obedience to God's commands.

Today's Christianity says you can be a Christian without keeping His commandments, God loves you & His grace got you covered. This is a changing of the definition of Grace, which is defined in Scripture as Titus 2:12 Grace is the power of God to reveal our sins & to takes us out of them, not to encourage or pamper us in our sins.

Friends, God salvation is a free gift, but faith without works is dead. James 2:17-26 this is clearly seen & understood in the whole of Scriptures. Jesus Himself learn obedience by the things that He suffer, & became perfect, perfected our salvation, all for our sakes, that we may follow Him. John 14:31

    hello Dan

I pray people would truly weigh in on what is reveal by Holy Spirit in this article. It's so plainly written in Scriptural language, with sound reasoning, & the Witness bearing witness inside our hearts to the truth of this matter.

I believe they're many on this site that are sincere & truthful in their endeavors to know, love & serve the Lord in Spirit & in Truth. Yet are deceived by this false gospel being preached in so call Christianity today, as I myself once was for 27 years, in which I have serve in every position in the church from a maintenance man to a deacon. Searching, fasting & studying the Scriptures as I see many doing on this site, meaning through the art of natural science, book knowledge. A veil always stood between me & my Beloved, the intimacy & oneness that the Scriptures plainly state we can have with Him.

The knowledge I acquired could never set me free from my sins & I couldn't understand why? I felt that I was the most miserable sinner there was. Still I press on, not knowing there was something better, sure & solid.

Until God in His sovereign mercy in Jan 2020 while attending Ministry School, led me to quit the school & set my heart to seeking Him, leading me to the teaching of these Quakers of the 17th Century, in which I never read or heard the likes of before, that we can be actually set free from all sin, in reality & be conformed into the image of His Son in Spirit & in Truth.

In truth, it not me off my feet, turn my world upside down, yet God held me & did not forsake me Isa 42:16 for I then found out by experience how so rebellious in nature it was, it truly as it has be said, "I who was once His enemy in His own house, He was well able to changed & make me His friend.

Friends, this is Truth, & He did it all by His Spirit shining in the inward parts, making me to Know His Wisdom

    Dear Letha & Husband

As you have already experience, they're many who will gladly give you their opinions, thus leaving you both torn & tormented with them,

Friends; you must go to God Himself to seek your answer, it's the only Way you'll have peace on this issue.

Your openness & honesty in revealing that you & your husband were living in sin before marriage is noted. This is what God is looking for, truthfulness Hebrews 10:22 as you both come before Him.

    Here are some Scriptures.

    Matt 10:19 "except for fornication"

John 4:10-18, here we have Jesus offering eternal life to a woman who had been married 5 times & presently living in sin

Scriptures does not reveal what all Jesus Christ spoke to the Samaritan's those two day He stay with them, but you can be sure it was on the lines of John 8:11 Hebrews 10:26

God's grace teaches us the knowledge of His will & we are to exercises it until we become more than conquerors through Him that loves us & continually gives Himself to us through His Spirit of Grace. This is putting Him on & what we receive from Christ is our inheritance in Him.

The simplest & purest definition of a Christian, is Christlikeness, to be like Jesus.

Its true we all come into this world as sinners, but it not true that we must remain sinners.

Jesus name declare His works, Matt 1:21 "saves them from their sin, not in their sins". Titus 2:14, "cleanse us all iniquity" for how else can we be Col 1:22 "present you holy, unblameable & unreproveable in His sight.

Concerning the reading of the amplified bible this is another man made opinion, throw it out the window along with the rest of the dirty water.

    hi Ray

2 Pet 1:19 does not refer to the letter, Peter explains it further 2 Pet 1:20,21 the Spirit, the Light John 1:9 Titus 2:11 is 2 Cor 4:6,7 the sure Word of Prophecy within us, by the Spirit of Prophecy Rev 19:10 the testimony of Jesus Christ

The rule & guide of a Christian life.

    Friend consider;

Here on this site is evidence enough, all the different opinions concerning the meaning of the Scriptures, where are all these opinions coming from? Is Christ divided?

Where as if everyone would be led by His Spirit, He speaks the same thing to all, according to their measure of Grace received, yet it's the same word according to each one's measure.

Acts 2:1 Acts 4:32 this is the fruits we shall see when its Christ who speaks, bringing His church to the Ephesians 4:13

    The Spirit alone can accomplish this. John 17:21-23 1Cor 6:17 1Cor 12:13

You quote me: Christ words out of His own mouth, which shall not pass away refutes all these words & belief concerning His 2nd coming, meaning this so call "rapture myth" The misunderstanding lies in who report will we believed,

Jesus gives His report of this present oracle here surrounding His 2nd coming. He says Matt 24:33 the door was open on the day of Pentecost, His kingdom came, the disciples became apostles, that day they were change in a twinkling of an eye. Its important to note they finally understood Jesus commendation to Mary, & chose the better part.

Jesus prayed in John 17:15, I pray not that Thou should take them out of the world, John 17:20 including us. We all can be assured that Christ prayers are answered. Jesus accomplish many things for us in His sacrificial life, one is that we may fulfill the great commission of Genesis 1:26, in truth expanding it , on earth as it is in heaven.

Friend, Jesus has already return & that by His Spirit. John14:18 2Cor 3:17 1Cor 3:16 Titus 2:11 a living personal experience in Spirit for each individual soul as His Spirit appears in everyone of us bringing us the words of salvation.

As far as your 2nd response concerning the sun, moon & the stars

It appears you maybe rejecting Light, that His Spirit has shine upon these Scriptures which are given to us, which also were fulfilled in their season.

Concerning these outward trauma, I agree, the Scripture gives plenty of examples of this, the flood, Sodom & Gomorrah, the rebellion of Dathan, etc; God makes use of His creation to discipline His creatures, noting that it like a last resort to Him, deriving from their inward rebellion, which all begins with a departure from the Truth/Light, that's known & manifested in them. Rom 1:19

Let's reverence the Light, the Anointing , John 1:9 the Spirit of Christ. John 6:63 the Spirit who speaks His words in our hearts.

    Hello GiGi & Friends

Its interesting to note that only two books in the NT, Acts & James have no farewell salutation at the ending, confirming the important continuation of the revelation of Jesus Christ. 2 Cor 4:6 Titus 2:11 John 1:9 Rom 8:14 Acts 2:17 diffusing the fragrances of His knowledge in every heart, & that by His Spirit 1 Cor 2:12-14, for they are freely given to us & only spiritually discerned.

ps: glad to hear your husband was not hurt

    Hi jimbob

the rapture that everyone is talking about in today Christendom is a myth, divise from a theological cemetry in Dallas Tx if I understand right & yes I meant cemetery, cemetery & seminary are spiritual synonyms

Jesus prayed, John 17:15 John 17:20

Titus 2:11-14 appearing of the Great God & Savior is the Grace of God that appears to all mankind, His spiritual appearance in everyones heart, making it possible for all the other Scriptures you quoted possible.

The tribulations are our spiritual inward trials & suffering as Christ breaks thru the darkness that we're captivated too,& redeems, delivers & translate us into the kingdom of His dear Son, through the washing of regeneration & renewing of the Holy Spirit unto the new creature, culminating the work of sanctification of the Spirit unto obedience & sprinkling of of the Blood/Life of Jesus within us. When were truely born again, experientially Matt 3:11,12 He gathers us unto the Garder, seeing Him spirituallly come in the clouds in great glory. We're still here on earth, but we're spiritual conscious of heaven 2Cor 2:17

The writers of the NT were speaking in the present tense, they said "we" it would be a cruel hoax to tell them to look for Him when it would be over 2000yrs later. Jesus said Luke 17:20-23 Luke 9:27 to those who were with Him then.

Luke 11:2 Luke 12:32 here & now, this is the exceedingly great glory of the Christ sacrifice John 17:21-24

    Hi Jema

I'll share a personal testimony of my experiences with God, how He open my understanding of these things that I'm writing of 1st He showed me, in the beginning with Adam & Eve, all their knowledge, & understanding that they had was what He, God Himself had given them in their fellowshipping together, they had no other thoughts, passions, desires, endeavors etc, but what was from Him. Until the devil show up & introduce another train of thought, twisting & perverting God's own words in doing so. In man obedience to him, another seed was implant in mankind heart & corrupted him.

Then Word of the Lord came to me & ask me to trust this still small Voice within conscience, I responded I couldn't do that, I didn't trust it, it always lead me to deny myself, asking me to do things contrary to my own will, which at the time I was unaware that it was the Grace of God appearance within me, the Cross. Titus 2:11-14 2Cor 4:10,11

Reading the Quaker's writing, specifically from 1646-1700 they all pointed to the John 1:9 & Titus 2:11 that appears to all mankind, it was in man, but not of man, but of God. The still small Voice that admonishes when, I thought of or did something evil & reprove me for it, at the same time if I gave thought to Him, He would show me what was right & good to do in my everyday ordinary experiences in life conversations, relationships, past time activities, what to deny or cling to in thoughts, words or deeds. As I consider what they spoke of, it align up with the Scriptures, sound reasoning & human experience, we all have these spirits operations working within us.

Friend, you stated in pt 4

"Why do we say that sanctification makes us blameless, not faultless? Because the Grace of God working in us does not make us infallible. Sin has so perverted our moral and spiritual powers that we shall never in this present life be free from the infirmities of human nature."

This is a subtle lie, cleverly disguise within a lot of truth, whether intentional or not, I hope it was the later.

blameless def; is an adjective that means "innocent of wrongdoing" or "free from blame or fault"

faultless def; is an adjective that means having no fault, mistake, defect, imperfection, blemish, flaw, error, vice, or offense. It describes something that is perfect in all respect

    Titus 2:11-14 all iniquity

Jude 1:24 faultless without blame, without blemish, faultless.

From a (as a negative particle) and momos; unblemished (literally or figuratively) -- without blame (blemish, fault, spot), faultless, unblamable.

    Ephesians 5:27

The Grace of God is the Almighty, who we have in these earthen vessels; Isa 14:27 only to the unbelievers are these things impossible Matt 13:58 Hebrews 3:19

One of the Quakers beliefs, Rom 8:14 a continuous revelation of God's will; correct!

This is the 2nd time you admonish me to pay attention, ok; lets look at the Scripture you refer too!

Gal 1:15-17 "call me by His Grace, to reveal His Son in me" Which is John 1:9 Titus 2:11 God spiritual appearance within him, both Scriptures says to "ALL MANKIND" so everyone has this experience, which is fulfilling 2Cor 4:6

What was Paul doing in Arabia? Living & working just like we do, its in our everyday ordinary experiences in life that God works out His great salvation, the sanctification of the Spirit unto obedience & sprinkling of the Blood/Life of Jesus within us, which is the washing of regeneration & renewing in the Holy Spirit, as we seek to be led by the Spirit of God everyday to know His holy will. Matt 6:11 the revelation of Jesus Christ, diffusing the fragrance of His knowledge in "EVERY HEART".

Friend, your missing out on your personal revelation of Jesus Christ unto you! That you may experience 1John 1: 1-4

2Thess 3:9 for them to follow their examples requires them to be enlighten & empowered by the same Power that they themselves walk in, though everyone doesn't walk in the same measure of the Power, according to their calling within His body. 1Cor12:18

This answers your opinion, what are the ministries for?

I, by no means are saying that God has not a purpose for these gifts that He has given, but they must be subjugated in their proper places. 1Cor12:25 is this case in the government structure of today's Christianity? No, by no means!

Christ is the Head, who speaks directly to the whole body. John 1:9 Titus 2:11 1John 2:27 Isa 54:13 John 16:13 Hebrews 8:10,11 which happens in our everyday ordinary life experiences in relationships, works etc; that God maybe Col 1:18

    Friend,

You says, Paul was an exception to the rule? Would you please prove this by the Scriptures.

You says, Jesus comes into my heart, should be taken figuratively? 1Cor 3:16,17 2Cor 13:5 Col 1:27 Ephesians 2:22 Where else could He desire to be but within our heart, the seat & center of our very being. Proverbs 4:23 1Samuel 16:17

    You say this sounds strange?

Consider also John 17:21-24 the oneness & unity that God desires to have with His people, this is what God has set His heart on Jeremiah 32:40,41 & made available thru the NC; this is a God, that has said, with all His heart & soul ! Come on; have a little faith.

We're heirs of God & joint heirs of Christ, it is God Himself that is our inheritance Psalms 119:57 Psalms 73:26

You says, not by one staying home & God teaching him. This is exactly what God has done through the spiritual writing of the Quakers, specifically from 1646-1700 through the gifts Christ gave His church; in their writing I discover the intent of God's heart to cleanse one from all sin, & being united with God through Christ, which the Scriptures so manifestly declares & how God accomplishes it. Isa 64:4 1Cor 2:9 Psalms 130:5 I'm talking about that Word that is Rom 10:8 that comes by 10:17 Meaning Christ spiritual appearance within conscience/heart John 1:9 Titus 2:11 Obeying His Father commands 2Cor 4:6 which is the Treasure we have in these earthen vessels. 2Cor 4:7 to know the things that are freely given to us 1Cor 2:12

Isa 53 The appearances of the Just One.

    Isa 59:16,17 Isa 63:5 fulfilled John 1:14 John 3:17

53 explains Christ patience's, trials, tribulations & suffering of His life in the great work of man redemption. In His humiliations, being despises, rejected, His not be esteem for who He really was John 1:11 & the world by Whom they were created. The sorrows & griefs He bare on our behalf, His Spirit being wounded for our transgression, & bruised for our iniquities, having the chastisement of our peace laid upon Him.

God, Ephesians 2:4 has left nothing undone in accomplishing this for us, a complete deliverance from sin; spirit, soul & body of the sons & daughters of men from Satan kingdom. Throughout His life & His passion ( the final day of His life) is describe fully here & we see it displayed throughout His life in His humanity, Hebrews 2:17,18

Isa 53:10 shows the delight of the Father's heart, as Christ fulfills every requirement of the Law, satisfying the Court in heaven Daniel 7:9-10 Daniel 7:13,14 being given a Kingdom, with Matt 28:18 literally untying the Father's hands so He could reach out to His beloved creatures in the Grace that He has now provided for us through His Son, 2 Cor 5:18-21

Isa 53:11,12 Grace appearance provides the knowledge that shall justify many, Rom 3:24 Titus 2:11,12 Luke 4:22
